Seddon, Kingsville, Yarraville (SKY) High Working Group (WG) are pleased to have participated a workshop hosted by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) to consider potential options to meet the learning requirements of children in Melbourne's inner West and the SKY neighbourhood.
The workshop was held on Tuesday the 10th of August, and is the first step for stakeholders in a consultative process being led by DEECD. The objective of the workshop was to examine a range of options for secondary education provision in the SKY neighbourhood.

SKY High at Yarraville Festival 2010!
Thanks to all the parents and children who stopped in at our street stall to make a subscriber donation or update their contact email addresses! The children drew some compelling pictures of schools too!
The 1000+ parents and children of Seddon Kingsville Yarraville who 'Rode/Walked to No School' and gathered at Beaton Reserve on 24 October showed that a new public secondary school is needed!

The Living Museum of the West invited the SKY High community group to tell their family stories as part of a cultural programme called Memorybyrnong – Wave Your Flag. The flag and the stories can be viewed at the museum, located at Pipemakers Park in Maribyrnong (Melways p28 B10; Google map ref).
