SKY High update & Next meeting 1st Feb 8.00 PM Yarraville Club

Consultants report

SKY High members are continuing to work with Spatial Vision (independent consultants) and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) in reviewing the SKY neighbourhood education provision report (Draft). The next meeting to discuss the report was scheduled for 27th January but some key stakeholders could not attend so it has been rescheduled to 10th February. The extended time is welcome and is being used to refine the draft report. The report is still not available for public release, however the report and the next steps for SKY High will be discussed in our next meeting on Monday 1st February, 8pm at the Yarraville Club, Stephen Street, Yarraville.

SKY High nominated for Maribyrnong council civic community group award

SKY High members representatives attended the Maribyrnong Council Australia Day celebrations where we received a nomination in acknowledgement of our dedication to the community. This nomination is recognition of the professional way in which the SKY High group conducts our efforts – congratulations to all members. (See website homepage for photos).
