Happy New Year!

The SKY High Working Group received a copy of the draft education provision report from Spatial Vision (consultants) on 23rd December. At this stage, the report is in draft and commercial in confidence, so is not available for public release.

We have been reviewing the data, assumptions and preliminary findings of the report with a view to provide feedback by Monday 18th January. We are pleased to have the opportunity to have input into the draft report and will be raising a number of questions about the data and assumptions.

A meeting to discuss these questions and the draft, is scheduled for 27th January, and will include SKY High, Spatial Vision, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) and our supportive local MPs.

While the report is not available for public release, it is the main topic of discussion at our current meetings. In 2010, we are looking to extend our active membership and are looking for new people to bring ideas/views. We would love to see you at our next meeting on Monday, 1st February, 8pm at the Yarraville Club, Stephen Street, Yarraville. This is a few days after the consultant's meeting and we will be discussing outcomes and the next steps.
